Our clients are encouraged to actively participate in deciding their plan in order to provide enhanced and fulfilling outcomes toward achieving their goals. Various therapies such as range of motion activities and resistance exercises will be utilized during specific sessions.
We also work with injury free clients who are looking to optimize, improve and progress their level of performance, allowing them to do what they do best – at their ABSOLUTE best! OPTOGAIT GAIT AND POSTURE ANALYSIS

Gait analysis, or the study of human locomotion, is used to assess, plan, and treat individuals with conditions affecting their ability to walk. While you are walking we are using the Optogate innovative technology to identify imbalances and develop solutions to prevent further complications. Chronic injuries can also be addressed by identifying the root cause of any malingering problems. By analyzing your walking cycle in real time, we can correct and find the most efficient gait rhythm and safely progress you to an enhanced pace.

ALTER G TREADMILL

The world’s first and only treadmill using NASA based anti-gravity technology to recover, maintain, and enhance physical function for better mobility, health, and performance. With the AlterG, clients can run and walk without bearing their entire weight, reducing the impact on the body to optimize rehabilitation and performance outcomes. Its Differential Air Pressure (DAP) technology applies a lifting force to the body that reduces weight on the lower extremities and allows precise unweighting – up to 80% of a person’s body weight, so people can find exactly where the pain stops and natural movement feels good again. With AlterG you get all the gain, without the pain.

INJURY PREVENTION/BALANCE AND COORDINATION

   

Balance training should be considered the corner stone of quality movement. Efficient
movement requires strong proprioception ( the ability for the body to know where its limbs are in space) and a stable core, both of which are improved through balance training. Moreover, balance training improves overall fitness and quality of life, sport performance, and decreases the risk of injury. Improved balance and coordination can also benefit neuromuscular coordination, joint stability, reaction time, and strength.

  

PRIVATE AND SMALL GROUP TRAINING

   

All our training sessions contain no more than 6 participants. We believe small group training has several benefits when compared to larger "classes." Each participant receives personal attention which allows for improved technique,  greater focus and therefore enhanced outcomes. Each session is tailored for that specific group and can include balance and coordination, band-resistance exercises, injury prevention, strength training, TR-EX and/or deep stretching. These sessions can be combined with our brain training as well.

  

VO2 MAX TESTING

   

Assessing an athlete's VO2 max or maximal oxygen consumption, which refers to the maximum amount of oxygen that an individual can utilize during intense or maximal exercise, is generally considered the best indicator of cardiovascular fitness and aerobic endurance. The more oxygen a person can use during high level exercise, the more energy a person can produce. You will be working at your maximum effort on our Woodway Treadmill at incremental changes of speed and incline and reach your peak performance both safely and effectively.

  

BRAIN TRAINING

Cognitive training that's tailored to you. Changing your brain takes some work—so while our exercises are sometimes fun, they can also be difficult. Using a state-of-the-art neuro light system, these exercises always give a useful, meaningful workout to your unique brain. Using a special algorithm, each exercise adapts in difficulty as you work so that you always train at the optimum level for you—where you are most likely to make cognitive improvements. Each client has their own ID so each training session is based on where you left off.
